I have side menu that i need to convert it to hamburger menu when the screen is small mobile sized. I think all the content between gets into hamburger.

Since the main downside of the hamburger menu is its low discoverability, it’s recommended to consider one of the alternatives when it comes to designing the main navigation menu. However, when designing secondary navigation options, this pattern might be an appropriate solution.
Possibly it depends on other factors such as the size of the tap zones, visual distinction between functions etc. Generally though, I would argue for having the hamburger icon on the right hand side. The top left seems like a natural position for the Back / Home buttons.
