It’s intuitive to the user and is a subtle way to add functionality that is only apparent when it is needed. As I mentioned, there are two simple ways to position the button at the top right hand side of a table element.
The simplest way is to add the button to an element within the table (a th or a td element) and then to position the button absolutely. This obviously isn’t the most elegant way and will be more difficult to read and understand later.
Where are the move forward and move backwards buttons?
Actions for moving forward I place on the right, actions for moving backwards I place on the left for LtR reading languages. (With a decent amount of space inbetween the two buttons to reduce accidental clicks). This will be the same throught the applications for all such actions.
There is no set spot to align your buttons. It all depends on where the user’s line of sight goes. If you have a one column form, your users’ eyes are going to finish on the left. If you have a two column form your users’ eyes are going to finish on the right.
A simple problem but many new developers don’t know how to do this. Set CSS Position property to fixed, bottom and right properties to 0px. Use cases : A feedback button or a chat window.
When to put Div at top right hand corner?
If I put the div at the top right hand, I want it to disappear (like “fixed”) when I bring the browser in from right to left. ID and NAME tokens must begin with a letter, that is why your #1 and #2 styles are not applying, change them to something like #a1 or #a2
Where you place your call to action buttons can affect whether users click them or not. Most designers only focus on how their call to action buttons look. But ignoring button placement can actually cost you clicks. Users view home pages in a particular pattern.
