It often appears as the first item in the menu bar, and contains commands relating to the handling of files, such as open, save, print, etc. It may also contain a list of recently edited files. In some operating systems, the file menu also offers commands for closing windows and exiting the current program.
It opens a File Browser window (see Section 5.2). Save — write the current PADE data to the current PADE data file. This is used to update a file with the current PADE data.
The Format menu allows users to control the formats of cells, columns, rows, worksheets and the workbook. This menu also gives users access to templates of standard formats. Figure 3-8. menu item opens the cell format dialog. This dialog is used to set cell data types and formats.

- The following options can be selected from the View menu:
- Tool Bar. This option selects whether or not to show the Tool Bar buttons.
- Status Bar. This option selects whether or not to show the Status Bar at the bottom of the WinTopo main window.
- Histogram Window.
- Zoom In.
- Zoom Out.
- Pan Realtime.
- Redraw.
As the name suggests, this simply adds “Full Screen” button to the toolbar and to the context menu. There are menu and keyboard shortcuts to toggle full-screen mode in Chrome, but no toolbar icon or context-menu item by default.
