How do you manage a team drive?
Manage Team Drives Sign in to the G Suite admin console (at admin.google.com), then navigate to Apps > G Suite > Drive and Docs > Sharing Settings. Review these setting to ensure that external sharing is either allowed or restricted appropriately.
How do I find something in Google Drive?
Search Drive with your feed
- Open your feed.
- Type or speak the words, “Search Drive for” followed by the phrase you want to search for in Drive. To type your search, tap the search box at the top.
- Tap Done .
- The Drive app will open and search for the phrase you requested.
On the left hand side of your Google Drive look for link ‘Share with me’. Click the link. The folder listing on the right hand side of your Google Drive will show all the folders and files that have been shared with you. Click on either the folder or file to open it up.

If a single file exceeds the 750 GB daily limit, that file will upload. Subsequent files will not upload until the daily upload limit resets the next day. A Team Drive can contain a maximum of 400,000 files and folders. Please contact Google support if you need to increase this limit.
Can a team view a shared Google Drive?
Note: Everyone in a team (i.e., shared drive members) can at least view every file and folder in that shared drive. If you need a smaller group of people to have access to a particular set of documents, either share a folder with the specific subset of people or create a new shared drive.
