Can a restricted person see my posts if I tag a mutual friend?
They will only see your posts if you’ve set the audience to “Public” (indicated by the globe icon), if they’re tagged in it or if a mutual friend tags both of you in the post. They will not know that they’re on your restricted list.
What do friends see when you restrict them?
While it’s obvious to someone when they’ve been blocked — because they can no longer find that user on the platform — it won’t be obvious when they’ve been restricted. They will see that user’s posts in their feed like they usually do. But they will no longer see when the user is online or has read their messages.

When you add someone to your Restricted list, they’ll only be able to see your Public content or posts that you tag them in. So if you put your boss on your Restricted list, post a photo and choose Friends as the audience, your boss (and anyone else on Restricted) won’t see that photo.

Can someone like your post if they are restricted?
A restricted person will never know if they have been restricted. Everything appears normal on their end as they can still comment on your posts, send you messages, and view your profile like any other user. The difference is only on your end.
Why can’t my friends see a post I’m tagged in?
If your friends are unable to view photos that you uploaded and in which you are tagged, the issue almost certainly is with your privacy settings. Place a check in the box next to “Let friends of people tagged in my photos and posts see them” to allow friends of friends to access photos uploaded by you.

If you have put restrictions on someone, then they will not be able to see your story. Note: If you make any changes to your story privacy settings, it will apply to any photos and videos currently in your story along with ones you keep adding. You can make changes to these settings anytime.
