Is Disqus GDPR compliant?
Disqus has been fully GDPR compliant since May 25, 2018, the ‘Effective Date’ of the GDPR. If you are a publisher using the Disqus SaaS commenting platform, we require that you take all measures to be compliant with the GDPR as of the Effective Date.
Is Disqus shutting down?
All Channels aside from Discuss Disqus will be deactivated on September 1st. New Disqus sites may be registered here and can be installed to a variety of platforms. As we understand that many of you have developed real bonds within channels, we are giving this notice one month before we take all Channels offline.
What happens when you delete Disqus account?
When you delete your account, your account will be immediately deactivated and a full deletion will be completed within 30 days. During the 30 day deactivation period, your Disqus account, including comments, will not be publicly accessible. After 30 days, your Disqus data is not recoverable.
Are Disqus comments indexed by Google?

I’m wondering if, by having Disqus on your site, you should also display a privacy policy and disclosure about tracking your users. In effect, Disqus is using the plugin to profile your visitors to later target them with ads. Maybe you didn’t know that but Google and the FCC might.

How to add a Disqus comment section to your website?

How to block other sites from using Disqus?
Setting a trusted domain in your Disqus admin settings will ensure that no other websites can use your Disqus shortname. Make sure you include all possible domains that you might load the Disqus embed on, or else you’ll block yourself. We recommend Reseting and Archiving Large Threads when a discussion on your site grows larger than 1,000 comments.
