Where are downloaded Google play songs stored?
In the settings of Google Play Music, if you have it set to cache on the external SD card, your cache location will be /external_sd/Android/data/com. google. android. music/files/music/ .
Where is my music from Google music?
To download all of your Google Play Music data, including your purchases and songs you’ve uploaded, head to the Google Takeout page. By default, you’ll be requesting a copy of your data on every single Google service.
Where are my iTunes songs stored?
Unless you have changed the location of your iTunes Music/Media folder, you can find it in your user folder on the computer. On a Windows PC, look in My Music and then the iTunes folder; on a Mac, open the Music folder and then the iTunes folder.
Where are the music files stored on Google Play?
The files are named or referred to as “MP3 Format Sound” and are numbered rather than the actual name of the song, i.e. “191”. That’s it! Don’t forget to change the setting on your Google Play to save the files onto your SD card. The default is internal storage.
Can you play songs from Google Play Music?
So just copying them from this location will be difficult to determine what song they are. Not only that, as GiantTree mentions, the files are encrypted, so even if you copy them off, you cannot play them. It requires Google Play Music to play them.
