When moisture goes inside to the screen it removes the glue gate of lcd, thats why the green tint shows up. UV makes it bond again, your mac lcd itself has a low UV light to cure the glue gate thats why it will disappear after few mins or hour. But green tint comeback will came back because it is not totally cure.
