Why is my internet speed only 100 Mbps?
If you’re getting 150 Mbps, then your Ethernet connection isn’t running at 100 Mbps. Also, it’s never a good idea to use Internet connection speeds to determine the link speed of your network adapter, which is negotiated between the PC and whatever is physically on the other end of the cable.

What’s the difference between 500 Mbps and 600 Mbps?

How to tell between 1Gbps and 100Mbps?

I don’t understand two different speeds could be reported for the same link.
Why is my Ethernet adapter stuck at 100Mbps?
To take the PC being the issue out of the equation, are you able to take the PC to a known gigabit PC and swap it over as a test.. If it is still at 100mb then its hardware/setting issue on the computer itself, if it is a gig then its a cabling problem.
Can a 1Gbps Ethernet cable be plugged in?
Setting it to 1gbps full-duplex and it doesn’t even know that the cable is plugged in. The cable is Cat6 so I know that supports 1gbps, the card I’m using are in multiple other PC’s that have a gig connection, so I know the card supports it.
