Do you get a notification if someone logs into your iMessage?
If someone logs into your Apple ID on the web, they can’t see or send your iMessages.
Can someone with my Apple ID see my iMessages?
There is no way for him to see your iMessages unless he knows your AppleID and password you use with iMessage. Nor can he see your carrier SMS texts unless you and he share a telephone number or account. There is no website that can magically gain access to your messages.
How do you know if someone logged into your Apple ID?
Use the web to see where you’re signed in
- Sign in to your Apple ID account page,* then scroll to Devices.
- If you can’t see your devices straight away, click View Details and answer your security questions.
- Click any device name to view that device’s information, such as the device model, serial number and OS version.
Can you use Apple ID to sign in to iMessage?
Today I received an email from Apple informing me that “Your Apple ID was used to sign in to iMessage on an iPhone 4”. I have not personally changed my iMessage setting on my iPhone 4 in a long time (months and months). Ok. You should have your phone # AND your Apple ID email. These are all of the address (so far) that iMessage will use as your device address (so to speak). So if your friend, neighbor, boyfriend, cousin, baby-mama or whoever uses an iDevice to send a message to this address “ding” you get a message.
Can you send an iMessage from a non iPhone iDevice?
Other iDevice users will have a choice between different emails not a number if it’s a pod or pad or Mac. If you send an iMessage to a non iPhone iDevice your email will be used as caller ID instead (because they dont have a wireless number associated) IF YOU LOSE DATA SERVICE EVERY NOW AND THEN, THEN THIS PART WILL MAKE LOTS OF SENSE
