How do I import Mail to iCloud?
On a Mac right-click on iCloud (under Inbox) and select New Mailbox. Choose a Name for your mailbox, for example, Gmail Archive. The folder will appear in the iCloud further down on the left. On an iOS device, go to Mailboxes > Edit and then choose New Mailbox.

Unfortunately at the moment I don’t use my apple email address for my account so I can’t setup rules for those emails at iCloud.com…another reason to now use the apple address as my ID address. It is in no way uncommon, most IMAP mail systems (Google/Yahoo etc) have server based rules available. Yours may, you should check.
