- Disable Wifi (Uncheck Enable Wi-Fi)
- Go to network connection (Edit Connections…)
- Click “Add”
- Choose “Wi-Fi” and click “Create”
- Type in Connection name like “wifi-hotspot”
- Type in SSID as you wish.
- Choose Device MAC Address from the dropdown (wlan0)
