Why does my MacBook Pro screen look blurry?
When I connect my windows laptop, the text and images are very crisp. But whenever I connect my mac, the text is blurry and the image quality is low. I have checked both the screen resolution on the system preferences. Its correct. My HDMI cable is brand new and I tested this on 2 different external monitors.
Why is the text fuzzy on my MacBook Pro?
In windows the text is crisp and clear. I move the monitor and cable over to the Mac Mini HDMI port and the text is fuzzy and gives me a lasting headache. I have tried all suggested workarounds and solutions, including dropping the resolution (why should I though on an expensive Iiyama 4k monitor?!) and still the text is fuzzy.

Make sure your internet connection is strong, and also you could use a clean cloth to wipe the camera if needed. I’ve seen a lot of MacBooks with fingerprints all over, that could be the cause.

Also try and go into a well-lit yet not too bright room, as a dark room can cause the camera to lose focus and the sun shining will probably blind the person looking at you. I have spoken with the Apple After Sales Department. Luckily, I can return the MacBook Air 2020 and will get a new one.
Go to the Apple menu and select System Preferences. Click the General icon and down at the bottom of the window is Use LCD font smoothing. It can be on or it can be off and there is no right or wrong setting because it is down to whatever suits you best.
Why is my MacBook Pro screen so white?
