Can you get rid of the cloud icon in the Appstore next to an app?
If you don’t want to see the cloud icon, you could sign out from the appstore via settings > iTunes & App Store > sign out. This will hide the cloud icon but you have to log in each time you want to download an app. You can delete the apps from your local iTunes, but they will show in your ‘Purchased’ view.

FYI, just because it has a cloud symbol (as in step 4 of the above subsection) does not mean it is coming from the cloud. The “cloud” does not have any of your apps (only possibly your app data, i.e., level & position within a game).
