Where is current wallpaper saved?
The location of the stock wallpapers is in an apk file that you should find on your device at /system/framework/framework-res. apk .
Where are wallpapers stored macOS?
We can see that macOS provide some high-definition pictures as the desktop background under the Apple -> Desktop Pictures and Colors folder. If we need to add some HD pictures into the system pictures folder, we can access the desktop background picture location(/Library/Desktop Picture) in Finder of the old macOS.

Where are wallpapers stored on Linux?
Linux Mint and Ubuntu derivatives will have their backgrounds in /usr/share/backgrounds/ The ones your looking for should be in their or a sub folder.
Where are Kali wallpapers stored?

The default wallpaper directory is found at /usr/share/backgrounds/ and the default wallpaper is called warty-final-ubuntu. png so overwrite it to change the default wallpaper easily.

Is it illegal for Apple to leak wallpapers?
Apple licenses the images from someone else, they put them in a beta, and then every Apple blog in the universe posts them. Wallpapers always get leaked though, whether it’s Windows 8 or iOS. Does that make it any less illegal or wrong?
