Boeing research shows that takeoff and landing are statistically more dangerous than any other part of a flight. 49% of all fatal accidents happen during the final descent and landing phases of the average flight, while 14% of all fatal accidents happen during takeoff and initial climb.

Ryanair is considered the safest airline company in the world if we take into account a specific statistic. No one has died in a plane accident involving Ryanair since its first flight in July 1985. The number of safe passengers who have traveled with Ryanair is growing and growing every day.

Also Ryanair fly to secondary or third airports in a city which means the runways are usually shorter than a normal main airport, which means they have less time to flare. Traditionally I have found British and Australian trained pilots land more softly that American but that could be just me!
