How do you land a visual approach?
A vector for a visual approach may be initiated if the reported ceiling at the airport of intended landing is at least 500 feet above the MVA/MIA and the visibility is 3 miles or greater. At airports without weather reporting service there must be reasonable assurance (e.g. area weather reports, PIREPs, etc.)
What is the difference between a visual and a contact approach?
The answer is: a contact approach. It’s flown the same way as a visual approach, but you don’t need the airport in sight. You need to remain clear of clouds, have 1 statute mile of flight visibility, and reasonably expect to continue to the airport in those conditions.
When to project a feature line to a surface?
At what point do you want the feature line to be on the surface. You can’t have it both ways, on a surface & at a pre-defined slope. wrote in message news:[email protected]… you to project a feature line to a surface, but at a given slope? I used to here in Civil 3D?? If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Can a VOR approach line up with the runway?
Once out of the cloud and with the runway in sight, they can then turn the aircraft to line up with the runway. VOR approaches tend to be found at smaller airports where the facilities are limited.
What should I look for when approaching a runway?
There are two elements to the approach: the visibility and the Minimum Descent Altitude (MDA)/ Decision Altitude (DA). These values are published at the bottom of the relevant approach chart which is available to the pilots. Sign up for the free daily TPG newsletter for more travel tips!
When is the best time to develop land?
A savvy land investor knows when to develop property. Just like with most investments, timing is everything. The local economy and demographics play a role in how lucrative the investment will be. It makes little sense to develop your property if developed land is already available at a much lower price.
