Is Arduino CE marked?
All boards are labelled with the FCC and CE logo, as they meet the electromagnetic compatibility standards set in their respective jurisdictions. Arduino/Genuino products meet the essential requirements of EU Directive 2001/95/CE General directive on products safety and Directive 93/68/CE.
Is CE marking still relevant?
The UKCA marking came into effect on 1 January 2021. However, to allow businesses time to adjust to the new requirements, you will still be able to use the CE marking until 1 January 2022 in most cases. The CE marking is only valid in Great Britain for areas where GB and EU rules remain the same.
Should electrical equipment be CE marked?
Electrical equipment for own use must meet the safety requirements of the Directive, but does not need to be CE marked unless at a later date the equipment is placed on the market (i.e. equipment is being sold or hired). Electrical machines should not declare the LVD with the Machinery Directive.
