Why is LTspice not working in Windows 10?

Why is LTspice not working in Windows 10?

These exact same simulations run fine on our old laptop. New Laptop is “Lenovo Yoga 510” with Windows 10, and is running LTspice XV11. The fault is that on most times that a simulation is started, it just freezes and “Task Manager” has to be used to “End Task”, as it just freezes totally.

Is the LTSpice simulation compatible with PSpice?

LTspice is not PSpice compatible. Yes, it usually swallows the syntax, but the computational algorithms in LTspice cause it not to run PSpice models the same was as PSpice does in some cases, or as efficiently (simulation can grind to a halt), in some cases.” “I thought generally LTSPICE is capable of using all PSPICE models.

New Laptop is “Lenovo Yoga 510” with Windows 10, and is running LTspice XV11. The fault is that on most times that a simulation is started, it just freezes and “Task Manager” has to be used to “End Task”, as it just freezes totally. I read somewhere that it may be due to Windows 10 doing windows updates, and this interferes with LTspice?

One slight disadvantage is that you have to open simulations from the LTspice window instead of just clicking them and having them automatically open up LTspice for us.. You don’t need to “install” most programs to run them. All installer does is copy the files and associate the file extensions.

Which is the source of vs 1 In LTspice?

Since the sources are given as sine functions in radians, you can use the LTspice behavioral sources B1 (voltage) and B2 (current). An example below shows the source for Vs 1 (t) using a transient simulation.

How to create a table In LTspice automation?

This is probably best explained with an example (reading the help for the commands used will probably be helpful here). But note that the table command syntax is in the form table (index, x1, y1, x2, y2.. xn, yn), takes index as input and returns an interpolated value for x=index based on the supplied x,y pairs.

How can I run LTspice in batch mode?

LTSpice can be run in batch mode with the -b command line switch. From the LTSpice Help file: How to read and interpret the .raw output is left as an excercise for the reader. -ascii: Use ASCII .raw files. Seriously degrades program performance.
