What are MOSI and MISO?
Typically there are three lines common to all the devices: MISO (Master In Slave Out) – The Slave line for sending data to the master, MOSI (Master Out Slave In) – The Master line for sending data to the peripherals, SCK (Serial Clock) – The clock pulses which synchronize data transmission generated by the master.
Does miso connect to MOSI?
MOSI on a master connects to MOSI on a slave. MISO on a master connects to MISO on a slave. Slave Select has the same functionality as chip select and is used instead of an addressing concept.
What is miso pin?
miso: the pin for SPI data input, the MISO signal pin. sck: the pin for SPI serial clock output, the SCK signal pin.
What happens if the MOSI pin is high or low?
Even if the MOSI pin is also driving the line, either a HIGH or a LOW level, it will only result in a resistor load and won’t change the level driven by the sensor. The resistor value be must chosen so that the current it draws is bellow both the uC and sensor limits.
How does the resistance of MoSi2 change over time?
However, as the power of the elements reduces, the probability of element overheating also reduces. The resistance of MOSIL (MOSI 2 Heating element) does not age even when exposed to high temperatures during operation. The resistance drops only by a slight amount (≈ 5%) during the first period.
What are the properties of MoSi2 heating element?
MoSi 2 Heating element is a special material that has the best properties of both ceramic and metallic materials. It withstands corrosion and oxidation, like ceramic materials and has a low thermal expansion. And it also has good thermal and electrical conductivity, like metallic materials.
How is the Mosi of the Master connected to the miso of the slave?
The MOSI of the master is connected to the MOSI of slave 1. MISO of slave 1 is connected to MOSI of slave 2 and so on. The MISO of the final slave is connected to the MISO of the master. Consider the master transmits 3 bytes of data in to the SPI bus.
