This range of 4S Li-Ion batteries with a rated voltage of 14.4V-14.8V is manufactured for universal use, for devices that can operate in the voltage range 12V – 16.8V. We manufacture the batteries in two modifications: Basic – without charge level indicator.

To build the battery pack, we are taking 4 cells in series and adding a parallel cell, so we have double the voltage and capacity per cell. See the diagram above for how to go about connecting the cells. The only limiting factor is that all of the cells need to be identical.

Balance wires are easy – they go exactly where the bms wires go – one to each pos and neg of each cell. The balance charger will have a slot for those wires. I recommend looking at the IMAX b6 charger because it is the cheapest balance charger I have seen and seems to work reasonably well up to batteries with 6s or less.
