What is a LED transformer?
An LED transformer is a type of power supply for LED lighting systems. Unlike LED drivers, LED transformers operate with a higher output wattage. As a result, an LED transformer can power larger, longer lighting systems.
What is a light transformer for?
A transformer can convert the 120v electrical currently supplied from your house down to the 12v needed for each low voltage landscape lighting fixtures in your lawn! The benefit to having low voltage landscape lighting is two fold. First, they consume far less electricity than a “hard wire” 120v fixture.
