How do you weather proof an antenna?
Coax seal tape is a sticky mastic tape that provides an excellent seal for coaxial connectors and antenna cables. It is stretch-wrapped around connectors and molded to create a water and weatherproof seal. The tape can be cut away when the connector needs to be accessed.
How do you seal an antenna connection?
The easiest way to seal your antenna connection is to use a high quality electrical tape, such as 3M Scotch Super 33+ or Super 88 vinyl electrical tape. Don’t skimp on cheap electrical tape. These tapes have high quality adhesives and excellent cold weather resistence.

While you may be tempted to do so, fiber-optic and coaxial cables cannot be used interchangeably. Fiber internet will need a fiber-optic cable, and cable internet will need a coaxial cable.
