What does Braintree error mean?
Hard declines
Hard declines are the result of an error or issue which can’t be resolved immediately. Action such as contacting Braintree Support or asking the customer to contact their bank will need to be taken to resolve the issue before the transaction can be retried. Soft declines are the result of a temporary issue.
Why is there an error processing my credit card?
If you see the error message “There was an error processing your payment”, this likely means that your credit card was declined. Because of this, you most likely need to contact your bank directly to solve most payment issues.
