Why is my BMW blowing cold air?
When there’s cold air coming through your vents, it may be because your vehicle’s heater controllers are faulty. Over time and much usage, it’s common that these buttons and dials become clogged and broken, making it hard for them to send a message to heat your car. Luckily enough, this is an easy fix.

Why is my BMW not heating up?
While there are a variety of reasons your BMW 328i heater is not working, the most common 3 are a broken heater blower motor, a problem with the thermostat, or a failed heater blower motor resistor.
Why is the heat in my car not very warm?
If the heater control valve is the culprit, the air coming into your vehicle won’t feel warm. The heater core may also leak coolant. The heater core is clogged from debris in the cooling system. If debris has caused a clog in the heater core, it will need to be replaced.

Why is MY BMW E90 blower motor so noisy?
If your blower motor fails and replacing the final stage unit has not remedied the problem, the blower motor itself is likely at fault. Over time, a blower motor may become noisy as the motor electrical contacts wear. I have also seen debris from a rodent get trapped in the blower cage creating a vibration or noise.
Can a BMW E90 engine temperature sensor leak?
The sensors can leak through the electrical portion of the sensor, wicking oil or coolant out through the electrical connector. If you suspect this the source of a leak, disconnect the sensor and inspect the connector for signs of fluid. The connector should be dry and free of fluids.
Where is the blower motor located on a BMW?
The blower motor is located behind the glove box on the passenger side of vehicle. The blower motor resistor (final stage) is utilized to control blower motor speed.
Where is the drain plug on a BMW E90?
Once coolant has stopped dripping, reinstall radiator drain plug. Some E90 models have two radiator drain plugs, one on the left and one on the right side (green arrow). If you have two, remove the right side after you are done draining the left side.
