When did the AC Delco Battery come out?
I did find the battery etched with what I would appears to be the battery manufacture date of 17/09/14, but I cannot find anything online saying that AC Delco has gone to this simple date reference vs the alpha numeric code (Please see picture). Can anyone confirm this?

Where is the warranty date on a Delco Battery?
The warranty date code is located on the top label of the battery. The first character is either a P or S. The next two digits determine the month, the third digit is year and the fourth digit indicates the manufacturing plant. For example, P 094N means the battery
