Why are my car doors locking and unlocking themselves?
In general, a central locking system’s electrical issues cause vehicles to lock and unlock themselves. Usually, the culprit is a faulty actuator losing electrical signals. Occasionally, worn-out wires or a faulty door sensor will engage and disengage car locks independently.
Why does my key fob only unlocks driver door?
Registered. The key fob sends a signal to the remote keyless entry module. The first signal sends voltage to the drivers door unlock relay. A bad actuators on one of the doors (could have a short in it) can cause this problem too.
Does every key fob have an automatic starter?

This is so strange! I was driving home after dinner with of my best friends & suddenly all of my doors keep locking & unlocking on their own for no apparent reason; I’m NOT EVEN touching the door lock switch! To remedy the problem I yanked out the door lock fuse so it won’t drain out my battery overnight. What could be wrong with my door locks?
Why does my 86 door lock and unlock?
It could be something else, but the first place I’d check in an 86 is the wire that goes into the door. Over many years of flexing from opening and closing the door, the insulation can be worse away. A visual inspection might find the problem quickly.
