Why will my seatbelt not unlock?
To begin with, a seat belt can be stuck due to two reasons: a) the problem may lie in the retractor being locked, and b) dirt or grime may have accumulated on the seat belt, causing it to retract slower than usual and not all the way. That way, the seat belt will not retract back in while cleaning it.

First, pull the webbing out of the seat belt completely and then give it a yank to undo the locked belt. If this does not work for you, take the retractor out of the vehicle. Then, using a screwdriver, you can manually spin the spool. This slowly retracts the seat belt webbing back into the mechanism.
