Why did my hour meter stopped working?
An easy way to check to see if it is good is to unplug the wire going to the switch. Then take that wire and ground it somewhere on the machine. Once it is grounded, turn the key to the “on” position (not the “start” position). If your hour meter starts to run, this tells you that you have a bad oil pressure switch.
