How do I add music to my default music player?
You can only set default music services that are shown in the assistant settings.
- On your Android phone or tablet, touch and hold the Home button or say “OK Google.”
- In the bottom right, tap More. Settings.
- Tap Services. Music.
- Choose a music service. For some services, you’ll be asked to sign in to your account.

Why does new music not show up in my MUIC player?
Is the phone doing a “media scan” when you reboot (will show in notifications). If the music files are not in the music folder, then you’re adding them to the wrong place. If they are in the folder, the player needs to sync to it (via media scan). Some players have a settings button that will refresh.

Can a WMA file be played on an MP3 player?
However, if you have one of the Ford Sync systems, try MTP. Once all files are added in the same mode (whichever one works), then it should see and play all of them with no issues, now that you’ve converted any wma files to mp3. Check it out and let us know how it goes.
