How to give user domain admin rights for subdomains?
IT personel sit in the root domain. I need to give a user account domain admin rights on each sub domain. I will not give them enterprise admin rights or domain admin rights on the root domain. I tried a combination of placing Domain Global groups into Forest Universal groups and placing the domain admin for each domain in the domain global groups.
How to create a DNS record for a subdomain?
To use DKIM authentication, you can add the necessary TXT record to the parent domain. If your domain registrar enables you to create DNS records for the subdomain, create the TXT record for the subdomain just like you would for any domain.
How to change the TXT record for a subdomain?
The subdomain must be the domain you created the key for. For example, if the subdomain is mail.solarmora.com, change the TXT record to: google._domainkey.mail. Do this step in your domain provider’s console or dashboard.
How to add a DKIM key to a subdomain?
In this case, to use DKIM for the subdomain, add a modified TXT record to the parent domain. Do this step in the Admin console. Follow the steps in Generate a DKIM key for your domain to get the TXT record name and TXT record value.
Can a domain admin have full access to a server?
A domain admin do have or can have full admin rights on his AD domain objects and the OS for AD-joined computers/servers in his domain. This can give a full or a partial access to what is running on these systems (That depends of the running services and applications).
Can a domain user access a folder but not B?
With the above Authenticated Users permissions in place, Admin1 can access Folder A, but not Folder B. This is what we expect and what we want. However, the same does not apply to Domain Users.
