Unlike other cloud providers, Tresorit doesn’t have access to your encryption keys or to the personal data you manage in your files. Even if our servers were breached, no one would be able to read the personal data in the files.
How does a synced folder work in Tresorit?
Files in a synced folder are automatically updated in Tresorit for you and other collaborators. How does a member access a tresor file?
This file serves as the starting point when accessing a tresor. When a member downloads the contents of a tresor, their Tresorit application first downloads the group key file, decrypts the encryption keys with its own agreement private key, and uses it to decrypt the root folder and the tresor’s content.
