Are Google Tasks replacing reminders?
Google will now prompt you to put all your reminders in the Tasks app. Google is rolling out three important updates to Tasks, the app for quickly creating lists and to-do notes that got a more prominent placement in the new design of Gmail unveiled last year.
What happened to reminders in Google Calendar?
You only get notifications for reminders when they’re set for a specific time. If you create reminders and don’t mark them as done in the Calendar app, the Google app, or Google Keep, they appear in the “All day” section of your calendar.
