Can I use both DVI ports?
You should be able to use either of the DVI ports. As for the VGA to DVI Adapters, I use them all of the time, they work just fine. I do not use just one brand of adapters either, I use many different adapters, so you should not have any problems. Usually, PC’s with DVI only connections will include an adapter to VGA.
Is Mini DVI the same as Mini Displayport?
Physically, the Mini-Displayport connector is quite a bit smaller, so the cables are not interchangeable.
