If you recently rewound your Dropbox account, your shared link might not work as expected. Click “…” (ellipses) next to the link you’re having issues with. Click Delete link. Create a new shared link to the file.
What does Copy link do in Dropbox?
The link is copied to your clipboard. You can then paste it into an email, message, or wherever people can access it.
What is the difference between share and link in Dropbox?
You can share files with anyone, including people without Dropbox accounts, by sharing a link to any file or folder. Shared links are view-only, and by default anyone with the link can view and download its contents. Dropbox Professional and Dropbox Business customers can add passwords and expirations to shared links.
If you’re having trouble sharing a folder, it’s possible that the people you’re sharing with don’t have enough space to accept the invite. If you’re having trouble joining a shared folder that someone invited you to, it’s possible the folder is larger than the remaining available space on your account.
