You can Screen Share from the Macbook Pro to the Mac Mini to work on it after an OS is installed and screen sharing is enabled on the Mac Mini. I believe Mac Mini comes in with the OS. There is no need of installing an OS. Just like Remote Login or GoTomyPC , we connect from One Computer to work on another Computer.
