Can you make 30fps look like 24fps?
There a two ways to convert a 30FPS clip to 24FPS. You can either drop frames or slow down the play back. So if you have a 3 second clip at 30fps you have 90 frames.
What happens if you drop a 24fps footage in a 30fps timeline?
a TIMELINE with a 24fps frame rate you drop the 30fps clip on the timeline: the 30 fps clip has internally 4 sec x 30 frames == 120 frames. The clip will loose in the final render 6 frames per second. Result: the clip plays content in real time, your audio is still 4 sec long, but some video frames have been left out.
Can you make 60fps look like 24fps?
Right-click and select “Modify > Interpret Footage.” Select “Assume this frame rate” and set the value to your timeline’s frame rate. Done. Now, Premiere will reorganize and stretch the existing frames in your 60fps clip to conform to a 24fps sequence.
When should I use 24fps and 60fps?
The video is recorded in 60fps, and then it is slowed to 24fps so that it smoothly shows a slow-motion video. A 60fps video takes more frames per second; it shows more detail and more texture than the other frames. 30fps is standard for web-based videos. It is mostly used for video recording apps like Instagram.
How much can I slow down 50fps?
So there seems to be three ways: Interpret footage to 25fps. Right clip footage in timeline > Speed/Duration > change to 50%
How to fix a 24fps shot that looks jerky?
If you change the frame rate of everything to 60fps you’ll get an even frame blend every 2.5 (60fps) frames. If you change the frame rate to 120fps you can eliminate the stutter completely, as 30 fps will repeat frames 4x and 24fps will repeat frames 5x. But few systems can play 120fps, whereas many can play 60fps (including YouTube).
Can a 24fps shot be played at 60fps?

Is it bad to do 30 fps video?
One more thing, you probably don’t want to hear that, but 30 fps video is really bad for doing slow or fast motion effects (except maybe timelapses with 200% speed or more). As you explained yourself, there’s not that many frames to go on so some frames will need to be dropped, synthesised or blended in some way which looks subpar at best.
What makes a 24FPS film look so smooth?
The reason we love 24p footage so much, is the very same reason it can be so frustrating to work with – it’s just not smooth. Unlike 30p or 60p footage that can appear so smooth that it’s hyper-realistic looking, 24fps material has a slight jitter to it, which makes it feel more ‘filmic.’
