Can you see how many times a Dropbox file has been downloaded?
Users can download or save files into their own Dropbox account. However, as the owner of that file, we don’t get to see how many times our shared file has been downloaded by the masses. Dropbox is not intended for storing downloadable files.

1 Answer 1. There currently isn’t any feature to show statistics regarding the number of downloads a file has, but there are workarounds that you can do. If you have shared the whole folder, then it is not possible, but if you only shared links to specific files, you can use the bit.ly URL shortener to keep visit statistics for you.
How do I get rid of viewer info in Dropbox?
If you don’t want to see viewer info, you can disable it on specific files or folders: Click All files in the left sidebar. Hover over the name of the file and click the share icon (person). Click the gear icon. Next to Viewer info , click to toggle Off.
