Do attribute rules work in ArcGIS online?
Are attribute rules supported in ArcGIS Online? Currently, attribute rules are not supported in hosted feature layers in ArcGIS Online.
What is arcade script?
Arcade is an expression scripting language which can be used across the ArcGIS Platform on feature layers. It can perform mathematical calculations, manipulate text, and evaluate logical statements using your data.

An arcade is a structure made by enclosing a series of arches and columns. The word’s roots go back to the Latin word “arcus,” which means arc or bow. An arched, covered passageway with shops or stalls on the sides is also called an arcade and was a precursor to the shopping mall.
What do you need to know about attribute rules?
When you create an attribute rule, you must specify the rule type to use. The attribute rule type chosen depends on the desired task and at what point in the editing process the rule needs to be evaluated. How are attribute domains assigned in a table?
If the features in a feature class or nonspatial objects in a table have been grouped into subtypes, different attribute domains can be assigned to each of the subtypes. A domain is a declaration of acceptable attribute values.
How are attribute rules created in ArcGIS Pro?
Attribute rules are created for an input feature class or table as the data owner. Rules can be created in the Attribute Rules view using the Add Attribute Rule tool or imported using the Import Attribute Rules tool. Rules can be targeted for specific subtypes in the rule definition.
