Having trouble with tranny not staying in gear,while in Drive,coming to a complete stop,vehicle will shift out of gear,drop shifter into 2 gear will then shift into gear,then vehicle can be shifted back into DRIVE ok. it has 75 000 miles on it, the dealer said 6 months ago that it was a bad fule injector.

Dealer quoted $4648 for replacement of the transmission. Repair not made, but vehicle was traded in and another vehicle purchased. Needed a new transmission at a cost of over $5K. Took 6 weeks for the dealer to source the part and get the car back to me. Transmission died. Some plates broke. Also replaced the CV axles while there.
