Does factory reset remove all installed apps?
A factory data reset erases your data from the phone. While data stored in your Google Account can be restored, all apps and their data will be uninstalled. When the factory reset completes, you must be connected to sign in to your Google Account.

No, root won’t be removed by factory reset. If you want to remove it, then you should flash stock ROM; or delete the su binary from the system/bin and system/xbin and then delete the Superuser app from the system/app .
