How can I change my home page to a static page?
Under YOUR HOMEPAGE DISPLAYS, there are 2 options. By default, it’s set to latest posts (so if you don’t have any posts, it’ll just show a blank page that isn’t even in your list of pages). Click the A static page button and you’ll see a drop-down menu where you can choose which page you want to be your default Home page.
