How can I make my blender run faster?

If you’re using Blender for anything beyond low-poly modeling and simple scenes, you’ll want at least 16-32GB of RAM. If you tend to multitask and this isn’t your first workstation build, stepping up to 64GB isn’t a bad idea.
Why is my Blender playing animation very slowly?
A screenshot during one of the playbacks. It is hard to tell, but there are two likely issues. You accidentally changed your frame rate in the Properties panel > Render tab > Dimensions drop down. Make sure the value is set to 30, or 24, or whatever it was at before.

How to make Blender display all animation frames?
by default, blender will try and display all frames during alt-A animation playback, even if it means dropping below the set framerate. normally, this is fine, but for slow computers and or complicated scenes, it will not be realtime. You can force constant framerate by going to the render/scene panel (F10).
