How can I select vertices located behind others?

How can I select vertices located behind others?

Then you can select all vertices hidden by faces, edges or other vertices. I use the Z key a lot since sometimes two vertices are in the exact same position. how about moving the front vertex on an axis a set distance, manipulate the back vertex and move the front vertex back again.

Why do I have a vertex selection error?

Anyone else experienced this in 2018: I’m working on an editable poly, and after a bit, I can’t select some of the vertices in the model. The problem is most evident trying to select single verts; it’s like they aren’t even there – no highlight, no cursor change, no ability to select. Not select & move, not select & scale, not even just select.

Why does Maya not allow me to select all vertices?

I want to be able to select all the vertices on a model, regardless of certain objects/faces being in the way. However, if there is a face in front of the vertice I am trying to select, Maya won’t let me select it. Any suggestions on what is going on?

How to select vertices that are visible in Blender?

In edit mode disable Limit Selection to Visible. An alternative approach is to switch to Wireframe Mode with the Z key. You must enable X-Ray. I just switch to wireframe mode. z => 4. Are there any vertices that don’t show up in Blender?

Little triangles are sticking out parts of the bone, and nope, no vertices even in X-Ray mode: link to see it [sun1-94.userapi.com]. The little triangles are bones, (I think), but is the mesh you’re trying to select the result of a mirror that hasn’t been applied?

Are there any modifiers that don’t show vertices?

No modifiers except for “Armature” are used at the moment. I used only “Boolean” modifier when I was connecting pieces into one mesh, but it didn’t affect any vertices. They stopped being shown and selected literally after using either Weight Paint or shape keys.
