Open the item editor and scroll down in the content tab to find Categories and Tags. To add a new tag, click Tags, enter a tag, and press Enter . To add a new category, click Categories, enter a category, and press Enter .

What are tag pages? When you add a tag in the tags section of a post, WordPress creates a page for each tag. A tag page is similar to a category page since it allows you to group posts together. Tag pages usually share the same template as archive pages (categories).

If a Page is tagged, there is no notification of the tagging. The only way to find out if your Page has been tagged is to check the photo stream and look in the area called “Photos of Page Name”. By default both categories and tags are only limited to posts, so when you create a new page in WordPress, you will notice that there is no option to add categories or tags to your WordPress page. Recently one of our readers asked us if there was a way to have categories and tags work with both post and pages.
How does tagging work on masterful marketing page?
If a photo is published to “everyone”, then it can appear publicly on the Photos tab of the Page and the admins can see it. Since Masterful Marketing’s Page is in the Brand or Product category, I was able to tag my page in a photo and a comment.
