Add a comment
- Select the list item, and then select Comment. Or select the icon next to the list item.
- In the Comments pane, type a comment in the box and then press Enter.

- Go to the document library.
- Select a document(by clicking the check-box).
- Open the Library tab from the ribbon on the top.
- Click on the “Tags and Notes” link on the ribbon.
- Click on the “Note Board” tab on the Popup.
- Write your comment and click Post.
How do I add a Like button to SharePoint?
If you want to use “Like” feature, you could go to page library->library settings-> Rating settings->enable Like feature. It will display “Like” button in the page library.
How do I add a version history comment in SharePoint?
To make this happen:
- Navigate to the document library where you want to add comments column to, click +Add column, then choose either Single line of text or Multiple lines of text (depending on how much info you want to store in comments field)
