How do I add contacts to Microsoft Lync?
Add a contact in your organization
- In the Lync main window, select Add a Contact.
- Type the person’s name or email address in the search box.
- Right-click the listing, click Add to Contacts List, and select a group to add the contact to.
Can Microsoft Lync be used with external contacts?
You add an external contact that uses a Microsoft account to a Skype for Business Online (formerly Lync Online) user’s contact list. You add the contact to Lync by using the contact’s email address. For example, you use the email address [email protected].
