- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- In the top right, click Settings. Settings.
- At the left, under “General,” click Working hours.
- In the “Working hours” section, click Enable working hours.
- Select the days you work.
- Select the times you work.
Why don’t I see Working Hours in Google Calendar?
If you don’t remember seeing it, you can update your working hours by navigating to the gear icon in the upper-right corner of your calendar. Then, select Settings and choose Working Hours from the General menu at left. This feature is now turned on by default.

How do I set it to display starting at 8am? You click the extension icon (blue circle with a white cross) top right in Chrome, then at the bottom of the pop-up set the hours you want to be visible. Please note, it’s only possible to hide evening hours if you would have to scroll to see them.

My start time is 8am, but I want to see the hours from 6am – 8pm displayed. I have to move the range each time I change screens using my cursor and up arrow to the 6am – 8pm range.
