Schedule staff shifts
- Sign in to Microsoft Teams, and on the app launcher, click More apps > Shifts.
- In the Create a team schedule box, select the team you want to create the schedule for, and then choose Create.
- Confirm the time zone you want to use for the schedule.
- Add people to your schedule.
Schedule workflows
- Access the Workflow Schedules page for either an item or for site workflows. For an item in a library or list: Click More options ( ), click Advanced, and then click Schedule Workflows.
- Click Add Schedule on the right.
- Configure the workflow schedule for the item:
- Click Save to save changes.
Is Microsoft shifts still available?
Effective June 30, 2020, Microsoft StaffHub has been retired. We’re building StaffHub capabilities into Microsoft Teams. Today, Teams includes the Shifts app for schedule management and additional capabilities will roll out over time. StaffHub stopped working for all users on June 30, 2020.
Is Microsoft shifts free?
If you pay for an Office 365 plan which includes Microsoft Teams, then you can use Shifts. This includes Education and Not for Profit plans, however, the free version of Teams doesn’t include Shifts.
What is a 4 2 work schedule?
The ideal scheduling practice involves setting a rotating schedule that allows for sufficient coverage on a routine basis. The 4-days on, 2-days off schedule allows an employer to set a six week schedule that maintains the rotation of employees while giving personnel guaranteed days off.

How to manage shift schedules in Microsoft Office?
Managers create, update, and manage shift schedules for teams. They can send messages to one person (“there’s a spill on the floor”) or the entire team (“the regional GM is arriving in 20 minutes”). They can also send policy documents, news bulletins, and videos.
I have already built a list to do this, grouped by region and subgrouped by week, and our dispatchers are loving it because it allows them search the name of the city they need service in and find a list of available techs (from over 100 techs)
