Enable and configure versioning in a SharePoint 2016 or SharePoint 2013 list or library
- Go to the library or list for which you want to enable versioning.
- On the ribbon, select Library or List.
- In the Settings group, select Library Settings or List Settings.
- On the Settings page, select Versioning Settings.
How do I sync my desktop to my teams?

When trying to open any file in any of my SharePoint sites using the ‘Open in Desktop App’ I get an error message indicating that the file cannot be opened. I have signed out of all Office365 online instances, Office365 desktop applications, reinstalled Office365 but still can’t manage to open the files in the Desktop version.
You can always access your SharePoint by signing in online. Select the blue OneDrive cloud icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar.
